Your wedding is an incredibly special and memorable day, not only for you, but for all of your guests, too. Therefore, making every part of the day as personal and sentimental as possible is key in ensuring that it’s the perfect celebration that’s going to be enjoyed and remembered for years to come. Something that really contributes to this, is live music, and this can be intertwined throughout your whole wedding day. It really adds to the atmosphere and authenticity of the day, and the best thing about live music is that it enhances emotions and makes every part of the wedding that little bit more memorable.
Seeing as our venue is host to lots and lots of weddings each and every year, we thought we’d tell you how live music can make the day really special.
Music is something to be celebrated. It plays a huge part in all aspects of our lives, and often comes with emotional ties and connections. Certain songs or pieces of music can make us feel certain emotions, as well as be associated with particular periods or events in our lives. Therefore, your wedding day is the perfect place to involve music. After all, it brings out many emotions and feelings in people, and your wedding day is a very significant milestone in your lives and that of your friends and family. So, live music can really have an impact on the atmosphere and the way you are feeling on the day. Furthermore, songs used throughout the day, especially during the ceremony or at the first dance for example, will always remind you of that every time you hear it in the future.
It’s also a great opportunity to incorporate any songs that already have significant meaning to you. For example, there may be a song important to you and your partner because it reminds you of a certain time, such as when you both first met. Having this piece of music involved in your wedding day is a remarkable way to commemorate it.
Having live musicians play at your wedding is a great way to keep guests entertained. You can have music throughout the whole day, too; before the ceremony officially begins, during as you walk down the aisle, and at the after party where further celebrations commence. Furthermore, you can usually request whatever songs you like, or preferred genres and styles. This allows you to make it personal and have meaningful songs played live at your wedding. It also means that the music can change in keeping with the atmosphere and mood of the day. For example, at the ceremony and during the first dance, you will probably have slow and sentimental songs, whereas later on when your guests come to let their hair down and take to the dance floor, you can have more upbeat music for people to dance along and enjoy.
Your wedding day is a time to celebrate with your loved ones. It’s where all of your friends and relatives get together to celebrate the joining in marriage of you and your partner and the coming together of two families. Therefore, allowing your guests to be involved and enjoy themselves makes for a great atmosphere and means that it is a lot more fun and memorable for all involved. Live music is an interactive experience, and what better place for live musicians to play than an event where people are all celebrating together?
